It has been a year now since my surgery. I can not believe how well I see and how different my life is with out glasses and contacts. At the end of the evening after wearing contacts all day, my eyes were so tired and blurred that it was even difficult to watch TV or read. As a result, I was tired and would go to bed early. Now I can stay up to watch my favorite shows or read a book. I wake up refreshed and ready for a new day of clear vision!! In over 40 years I had gone from needing glasses to see the blackboard to needing them to see my wife and children in a crowd from 15 feet away. At my last few eye exams, I could only see the light on the wall next to the eye chart. I could not even make out the BIG “E”. Several friends had raved about LASIK surgery so I thought, Why not? Am I glad that I did! I was amazed at how sharp and clear everything was after the procedure. I can only describe it as looking out of a smudged, dirty window before surgery and now looking out of a sparkling, clean window after surgery.
